Needs wateringJust watered

Snake plants store water in their leaves and cope easily with being forgotten. Let the compost dry out almost completely, then water and let it dry again. Water only sparingly in winter.

Once established this plant rarely needs watering. Alerts are worth acting on mainly in a long dry spell or in its first year.

A near indestructible plant with tall, upright leaves that copes with low light and irregular watering. One of the easiest of all houseplants to keep alive.
