One probe per trough or one per plant

Asked by plantsense on 26 July 2026 Answered

For a trough or row of similar plants, one probe placed among them reads the shared soil well. For plants with very different watering needs, or a long bed that dries unevenly, more than one monitor gives you a truer picture. Match the number of monitors to how varied the planting is.
