What do the status words OK, getting dry and needs watering mean

They are a plain reading of the moisture level against the watering point set for your plant. OK means there is plenty of moisture, getting dry means it is heading down towards the watering point, and needs watering means it has dropped below it. The monitor works this out itself, so it keeps telling you even when your phone is off.
